Dates

• Registration opens on Aug 15.
• The online round begins on Aug 23.
• Submissions close on Sep 6.
• Finalists are planned to be announced on Sep 12.
• The in-person final is planned for Sep 20 at BRAC University, Dhaka.

Dates may be adjusted if needed. Any important updates will be shared with participants.

Eligibility

• The hackathon is open to applicants in Bangladesh.
• Teams must have 3 to 4 members.
• Finalist teams must be able to attend the in-person final in Dhaka.
• Organizers, judges, and anyone with a conflict of interest are not eligible to win prizes.

Project and submission requirements

• Projects must be created during the hackathon period, though teams may use public libraries, APIs, datasets, templates, and previously built tools if they clearly disclose them.
• Submitted work must be original to the team and must not violate another person or organization’s intellectual property rights.
• Projects must be safe, legal, and appropriate for a public demo.
• Submissions must include enough information for judges to understand and review the project.

Code of conduct

All participants, mentors, judges, speakers, sponsors, and organizers are expected to create a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment. Be kind, professional, and constructive. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abuse, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Participants may be removed from the hackathon if they violate the code of conduct, break the rules, or act in a way that harms other participants or the event.

Prizes

• 1st place: BDT 30,000
• 2nd place: BDT 20,000
• 3rd place: BDT 10,000

The confirmed prize pool may increase if additional support is added before the event.

Judging criteria and winner selection

Judges will review eligible submissions and select winners based on usefulness, product quality, technical execution, AI/agentic workflow, demo clarity, and potential impact. Judges’ decisions are final.
